Availability: Weekend games 3rd, 4th September

All,

With the bank holiday cricket-free weekend coming up, I am checking on availability for the two games we have for the following weekend. On Saturday 3rd September we are playing in the David Skinner 7 a side tournament in Surrey. For those of you who have not played in this before, this is a great day out at a lovely ground, all day bbq, and some cricket thrown in throughout the day. I recommend you experience this if you are free. First game starts at 9.30 but details of when we need to arrive will be posted nearer the time. we need about 10 players to make up a decent squad. The squad does not need to be exclusively Mount players, so if you know any decent players who fancy a fun day out please pass this on.

On Sunday 4th we are playing Great & Little Warley. Again, for those not familiar with the fixture it is a lovely ground and again will no doubt be followed by a bbq!

Please let me know whether you are available for one or both days.

I don't have the exact scores, but understand that in a high scoring game Mount chased 260 and got it thanks to Ged & Ilan primarily. Although, to quote, "we couldn't catch a cold". And I wasn't even playing!!

Jay and Luke are trying to put together an AC Old Boys team to play the Mount and have suggested a game on August 28th which is the bank holiday Sunday.

We have for the past few years avoided arranging a fixture on this weekend as so many people tended to be away but if you are available and would like a game on that day please let me know. When I have the response and can ascertain whether we would be able to raise a side I will contract Jay an let him know the outcome..

Please bear in mind that the following weekend there is the David Skinner 6 a side tournament of the Saturday and a Mount fixture on the Sunday.
