Mount Tour 2017
For those of you who did not attend the A.G.M I am sending a newsletter to bring you up to date with arrangements for the 2017 Mount Tour, which is from Sunday 23rd July leaving on Friday 28th July after breakfast. Our Dinner is on Thursday at The Windmill after the Kilve game. I believe Bill, Toby and families will have their ‘do’ on Tuesday at the ‘House’.
It was agreed at the A.G.M that adult players would all pay £10 match fees and juniors £5 to offset the increasing cost of grounds, teas and balls.
Fixtures are as this year (2016), and we have retained Bagborough for Monday – which seems a popular fixture.
Accommodation
I had hoped to offer the option of The Hood for 2017, but the landlords say the building works will not be completed in time, so I have booked all seven rooms at The Windmill on a ‘first come first served’ basis. The Windmill rates are £110 per double room £55 each), £75 for single occupancy, and £30 for a double room with 3rd bed. All are subject to 10% discount for Mount. I have personally paid a deposit of £30 per room – so when you book The Windmill with me please enclose a cheque for £30 per room made out to D B Thomas.

We have most or all of this years players – but there is always room for more keen fit cricketers to join us! Ladies are always welcome.
I realise this is early days, but the Mount tour becomes more popular every year – so do please make your reservations as soon as possible.
