Changing Policy

Mount CC has a responsibility towards those children and young people (i.e. those under 18) who play for the club to ensure that it is a safe and welcoming environment. With regards to changing, the club will therefore:

  1. Adults should not change, or shower, at the same time as children
  2. Adults should change at separate times to children during matches
  3. If adults and children need to share a changing facility, the club must have consent from the parents that their child(ren) can share the changing facility with adults in the club
  4. When children play for the club, they, and their parents, must be made aware of the club's changing policy
  5. Mixed gender teams must have access to separate male and female changing areas
  6. No mobile phones must be used in the changing room
  7. If children feel uncomfortable changing or showering at the club, no pressure should be placed on them to do so
