An evening's entertainment for £5.00.

Not only will you get two games and hire of shoes for £5.00 you will have the added fun of laughing at the efforts of others trying to bowl.

Batters always seem to think it is so easy - "why don¹t you just bowl straight?" Lets see how they get on!

I will book a lane or three in advance so let me know if you can make it. There is a bar and they do burgers and baguettes for about £3 - those who fancy it can go on for curry after.

Regarding the suggestion that we have a Mount social event to see Henry Blofeld at the Cliffs I have made some enquiries and the details are as follows:

An Evening with Blowers is on for one night only on Sunday 30th March 08 at 7.30 pm and all seats cost £15.00 each. There is no discount for group bookings but we can arrange seating to all sit together at the present time. Sunday the 30th is the Sunday after Easter and so will probably be in the school holidays.

Please can I have an indication of any interest asap (once you have checked your work and home diaries), how many tickets you want and then I can proceed with the booking and collecting your cheques!!

It would be great to be able to arrange some events that are of interest to everyone so if you have any suggestions or advice as to what might or will definitely not work, please let me know. Meanwhile I look forward to hearing from you soon!
