Teamsheet: President's Day, Sunday 20th July 2014. Noon start.

The weather forecast may be a little mixed but our president has ensured that everything else is set for an excellent day.

The observant amongst you notice that as is usual practice we have more than 11 a side! There are one or two injury worries so there may be late changes which will be confirmed prior to the toss.

The start is set for 12.00 with lunch from 1.30 to 2.30. We expect tea will be about 4.30. After the game the barbeque will, as usual, be in the school garden and will start at about 7.00.

Would everyone please note that you will need to bring your own lunch but all other refreshments will be provided.

Cancellation: Mount vs Rayleigh, Sunday 13th July 2014

Regrettably, after dozens of e-mails and calls we have been unable to generate enough players for this weekend so have had to cancel the game.

I know we have had a considerable number of injuries but let’s hope this is the last game this year we have to cancel.

However, on a more positive note, we are all set for an excellent President’s match next weekend and I would be very grateful if you could please advise Ilan or I of your availability as soon as possible. We hope to have two strong teams of 12 or 13.

As you will know we unfortunately had no game last Sunday as Gold Bats were unable to put a team together.

The following have been chosen to play this weekend. Please note that we are still troubled by a few injuries and Mr Other would be delighted to stand down if you want a game.

As you will have seen from the previous e-mails, the captain has a special birthday this weekend and will be delighted to see as many spectators as possible on Sunday.

One final reminder is that The President’s Game is in two weeks. Friends, family and all supporters are very, very welcome. For those who don’t know, this will be an all-day game starting at 12.00 noon with lunch between 1.30 and 2.30. Tea will probably be about 4.30/5.00. You will need to bring you own lunch but tea and an evening barbeque will be laid on. Please let Ilan, Bill or I know if you are available to play for Mount – the president has already put a strong side together!
