A fine result, good bowling especially from Bob kept us in the game, followed by an explosive innings from Ged meant a relatively straightforward victory.

Once again, thanks to those of you who have made themselves available this week. With decent availabilities like this it makes selection a factor rather than trying to simply find 11 players!! It also means some older legs (and other body parts) can be rested more frequently, and we can afford to have a "critical committee" scrutinising from the boundary!

Presidents' Match

We will be circulating details shortly of the Presidents Match at AC on Sunday 7th August. Given the tour sits between now and then, and there is no game on the preceding Sunday (31st July), please advise asap of availability if not already done, and also whether you will not be available from the start (12.00). Hopefully we will have a 12/13 a-side game if numbers allow with subs rotating. Format will be as usual, ie bring your own lunch, tea & barbecue provided. Please also advise if family/friends will be attending so we can plan catering. On that note, the intention is to share out responsibility for some of the evening catering. If you or your wife/girlfriend/partner is available and willing to help out, please contact me or Anita asap.
