Further to my email of Tuesday I regret to advise that we still have insufficient numbers and there will not be a game this coming Sunday.

Our next match is on the 31st August away at Rankins. Please advise Ilan and Richard of your availability for this game .

I have received an email this morning from Belhus CC advising that they have insufficient players for the game next Sunday and that they are therefore calling off.

I am happy to look for an alternative fixture but as of this morning I have been advised by Ilan that Mount have only 4 players who have indicated they are available. Unless there is a sudden upsurge in availability I think it would be pointless to try to arrange another fixture when we most probably would have to cry off ourselves.

Of you would like me to try, and there is no guarantee that an alternative fixture can be found, please let Ilan know urgently. If there are still insufficient numbers to form a side it may be possible to have a net session instead.

This is the last home game of the season and after the fixture was cancelled last weekend, I am expecting that you are all really keen to play this weekend.

I regret to inform you that the match on Sunday has been cancelled due to both teams having insufficient numbers.

There was a real effort to recruit players, but Westcliff still only had 6 players (we had 9).

I will send out a message on Monday about the next match. I know it's school holidays, but let's try and get a team together.

I have just heard from the Leigh CC skipper who has confirmed that today's game has been cancelled due to the adverse weather conditions allied to their fear of certain defeat.

Our next fixture is vs Westcliff next Sunday (17th) so please let Ilan, Richard and I know if you are available ASAP.
