I am sorry to advise you that we have insufficient players for the game on Sunday and will therefore be advising Wenden that we are unable to fulfil the fixture.

We are scheduled to play Raphael on May 9th which is an away game but will be played at Hutton CC's ground which, for those of you who do not know it, is a very pleasant ground not too far away.

I already have indications of availability from more than were available for this coming Sunday so I am optimistic that we will be going ahead. If you have not yet indicated that you are available I would be grateful if you would do so as early as possible and ease some of the stress which I am currently experiencing!

Can you please let me know , if you have not already done so,if you are available for this coming weekend away at Wenden.

I trust that you have wintered well and, with the first hints of spring appearing, turning your minds to the forthcoming season. It is time to empty out your cricket bags which have been gently mouldering away since last September and seeing if the trousers, which were a perfect fit then, have mysteriously shrunk over the winter!!

As usual we start the season with a trip to Wrotham on Sunday April 25th.

Please can you let me know if you are available for this game and indeed any other dates that you are available on.

We have a splendid new pavilion at Alleyn Court which I am sure will be the envy of all the teams that we play there.
